This is what happens when you do a Tri in what ends up being 42 degree heat, with the sun to match.

Race 2 - Elwood

Forecast - 39 degrees. It actually hit over forty that day, but during the race probably 'only' mid thirties!

Water was cooling and flat. Perfect day for it.





Cory after his swim leg. Seemed to be over just as he was getting into a rhythm.

Mick and Paul, neck and neck.

Nai, again strong on the cycle leg. The temperature was starting to lift, as had the wind, and she'd manage to drop her drink bottle 5kms in.

Here' comes Naomi. It was better to survive than to go hard, so she walked a lot of the run leg with her instant buddy who did the same. Came home at a decent pace though!
