Race 2 - Elwood

Forecast - 39 degrees. It actually hit over forty that day, but during the race probably 'only' mid thirties!

Water was cooling and flat. Perfect day for it.

Cory after his swim leg. Seemed to be over just as he was getting into a rhythm.

Mick and Paul, neck and neck.

Mick coming home strongly.

And Paul shortly after.

Nai, again strong on the cycle leg. The temperature was starting to lift, as had the wind, and she'd manage to drop her drink bottle 5kms in.

Ros and Genevieve waiting in the shade. (Ros did better this race than last - no photos sorry!)

Here' comes Naomi. It was better to survive than to go hard, so she walked a lot of the run leg with her instant buddy who did the same. Came home at a decent pace though!

Yay! Go Mummy!

A quick dip to cool off before heading home!
